why am I still on this site?

So I've been on deviantart for... a long time! Obviously I barely use it anymore. I don't check it. I don't upload things to it. But I am busy with art, always. Just not quite the same stuff as I used to do.
I've thought a lot about using this again. I have plenty of stuff to post but is it even worth it? How many of my followers are still active, even? I made an art instagram instead but I don't really enjoy using instagram as an art platform. The result was I did nothing for a while, I mean except post on Oekaki on CS for when I had stuff to post there. These days I primarily fill up all my art time with digital sculpting.
I guess I've decided (at least right now, kind of out of nowhere, with a random feeling that'll go away probably by tomorrow) to use my deviantart again. I'll at least try to post stuff here a little more consistently. Likely, after I get through my Oekaki backlog, it will be stills or turnarounds of my digital sculptures. Not at all what I usually post(ed?) but it's what I'm doing, so! There's that.

Thank you for 4 years of orders! I have decided to stop doing line commissions for the foreseeable future.
Payment Information Regarding Chickensmoothie Oekaki Linearts
A lot of people have been inquiring about linearts from me so I felt it was high time to make a list explaining my pricing instead of explaining it every time. If you don't know what commissions I'm talking about, it is on CS, here: www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/…
~Prices~
ALL OF THIS IS PAID THROUGH PAYPAL ONLY, NO POINTS, NO OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT!
1/2 down on payment must be given by the time I am done with the rough sketch, I will not begin lining until I have at least 1/2 of the agreed upon payment. The final half can be given upon completion of the lineart and I will not allow you access to the lines until I have full payment.
Pricing on linearts (generally horses) start at a base price and go up depending on the complexity of the lineart, the time it is estimated to take me, and the amount of added "extras" you want. Examples of extras include multiple mane/tail options, optional halter/tack, differences between genders, etc..
These are just estimates. If you want a true quote, note me with exactly what you are looking for and I can give you one.
Base Price currently: $25
This is for a standard horse (body, mane, tail) without heavy hairing such as feathering, excessively long hair, etc, OR whatever other species you have in mind (like canines, felines, etc.)
With excessive hair: +$5
This includes the standard body with things such as a very long mane and tail, or feathering (hair on the feet)
With 1-2 extra mane/tail options: +$10
Add $10 for every extra set after the first two. These take quite a while as they will be fully lined, easy to color in, with shading, highlights, and should overlay the base body cleanly.
Halter/Collar/Etc. layer: +$5
If the halter is super detailed/complicated, may go up.
Tack set layer: +$10 and up
An example of a tack set for $10 would be a simple english or western bridle and saddle. If the tack set is very detailed or large, this may go up.
Wings or similar extra limbs: Case-by-case
Depending on how large/complicated these additions are, they may cost more or less. Feathered/pegasus wings are at least $10 extra.
Minor differences between males/females: +$10
These can include things such as heavier feathering on a stallion, or thinner neck on a mare. Super simple things like a sheath or no sheath don't cost extra.
Major differences between males/females: Case-by-case
These can include major changes to the overall body shape and other large differences. Depending on the amount of work, the price may vary.
Nursery/Baby lines: +$20 and up
One set of baby lines with your adult lines is just $20, all additions to the baby needed will cost the same as the adults (like multiple mane/tail options that the adults have, or halter layer, etc.). This is because making baby lines requires all the same steps of making adult lines, so I consider it a separate lineart completely.
Anything else: Case-by-case
Like I said, the best possible way to get an exact price is by sending me a note with EXACTLY what you want. These are just estimates

Sketches- $5
- These are not colored. They'll have some sketchy shading and can come in any color you want (default is just black)
- lots of examples on this sketchdump near the bottom
Flats- $10
- Lined and colored without shading. The lineart will also be colored so it's not just plain black.
- Some examples are on the last link with the sketchdump, above the sketches. The colored, non-shaded ones. yeh
Cell-shaded Fulls- $15
- Lined, colored, and cell-shaded. Lineart is colored.
- Examples include my ID pic and also the shaded fox with antlers on the previously linked sketchdump
Soft-shaded Fulls- $20
- Lined, colored, and then blended cell shading, normally a lot more detailed than everything else. The lineart is colored.
- This is a good example, and also this
Reference Sheets- $30
- Two full bodies, lined and colored, and one lined and colored headshot, with color swatches and a formatted reference sheet
- These are NOT design commissions, I will only make references based on previously existing designs. I can make a few changes to the design if you want, but I won't be making an entirely new one
- On the ref you can also choose to include text with info, extra references for any accessories, and companions
- Depending on how complex it gets, I might raise the price.
- Here is a good example, with two flat full bodies, one headshot, extra references for accessories, color swatches, and text info
